I can't believe Miss Madeline is already one month old. Everyone kept telling me how fast time will go by and they were not lying! This last month has flown by, I have completely forgotten what life was like without her. Ever since we brought her home from the hospital it was like she was just meant to be here and fit perfectly into mine and Alan's life. She completes our family and is such a joy to our lives!
Here are some things that Madeline does at one month old:
- She hates to be swaddle, she will grunt and cry until her arms are free
- She can roll from her back to her side and could do this about a week after coming home from the hospital
- She burps like a teenage boy and makes her dad and I laugh so hard
- She loves to take baths, it is my favorite time of day because she is so happy
- She hates getting dressed or undressed, once she has her clothes on or off she is much happier
- She has the strongest neck and can pretty much hold it up herself
- She loves to be held and snuggled up in your arms, it seems to be the only way she will fall asleep
- She loves to stare at her dad, she is so amazed by him (can you blame her?)
- She loves to make noise, she makes the cutest sounds all day long
- She loves to stretch and squirm, She loves to stick her bum out and pucker her lips. It is my favorite thing she does
- She loves to suck on her paci and her hand. She doesn't like her thumb but loves to have her hand near her mouth and just suck on her knuckles.
- She loves to sit in her swing and stare at the things around her
- She hates to be put down which sometimes makes it hard to get anything done, but i cherish it cause I know there will come a day when she will never want to be picked up!
- She is very good at her tummy time, but only likes to do it for a couple minutes at a time
I could seriously go on forever! We sure do love this baby girl!
